"Kaafir ke saath kyun aate": Muslim mob harasses a hijab-clad girl for talking to a Hindu girl

Days after the Maharashtra incident where some Muslim boys harassed women in hijab just for talking with Hindu boys, a similar incident has come to light in its neighbouring state, Gujarat.

In the latest incident, a group of Muslim mobs harassed a girl in hijab just for talking to her school friend, who is from a non-Muslim community. The incident took place in Juhapura, Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
 
 
 
It came to light after the video of the incident went viral on social media. In a video, a man is seen asking a Muslim girl her name and why she was hugging a Hindu girl. The girl was seen explaining to him that he was only her good friend; however, the man continues to harass her. He also threatened to kill the Hindu boy.
 
Soon, when mob gathered around her to see what was happening, and they also started harassing her. One of the men even asked her, "Kaafir ke saath kyun aate."
 
It should be noted that this was the second such incident that took place in a week. Earlier, a Muslim group of boys harassed a Muslim girl for talking with a Hindu man in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra. They not only harassed the girl but also pulled off her hijab. The incident happened in the Begumpura area.
  
The incident took place on Monday and came to light after it went viral on social media. As per the reports, a college-going girl wearing a burqa was talking to a boy of another religion when some youth stopped and asked why she was walking and talking with a boy of another community.
