When Parineeti Chopra said she will never marry a politician; Old video goes viral amid wedding rumours with Raghav Chadha

New Delhi, April 3: Actress Parineeti Chopra and AAP leader Raghav Chadha's blooming romance has been the talk of the town and the couple is often spotted together on casual outings.

 

Amid their wedding rumours doing rounds on social media, an old interview of Pari also went viral where the actress said that she will never marry a politician ever.

 

 

It was during a film's promotion with Sidharth Malhotra, when Parineeti had said, "The problem is I don't want to marry any politician. There are too many good options but I don't want to marry any politician ever."

 

While sharing the qualities she was looking for in an ideal partner, the actress further added "He should be funny, he should smell really good and he should respect me. My love for travel, love for water, the ocean, diving, whatever, and they should just be a self-made person. I love men who have self-worth, who have made their lives themselves.'

 

 

While the statement, on which she has seemingly gone back, got a good laugh — with Malhotra and Shahryar joking that she was being “politically correct” — the interview couldn’t resurface at a better time than when Parineeti-Raghav wedding rumours are rife.

 

It comes after a series of appearances led to speculation about them of getting married soon. The couple were seen together in Mumbai last week, first on a supposed dinner date and then for lunch the next day. On Wednesday, Raghav was spotted picking Parineeti up from the Delhi airport, according to Hindustan Times.

 

At some point, she also reportedly visited Manish Malhotra at the designer’s home for what fans believed had something to do with her wedding outfit.

 

The rumours were confirmed by Harrdy Sandhu, who congratulated his Code Name: Tiranga co-star for deciding to take the plunge with the AAP MP. AAP leader Sanjeev Arora later congratulated the couple in a Twitter post.
