New Delhi, May 10: Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) Professor Bhagat Oinam said that the violence in Manipur was committed under a well-planned conspiracy. A press conference was held at the Press Club of India, Delhi by the People's Alliance for Peace and Progress Manipur and Delhi Manipuri Society on Tuesday (May 9) pertaining to the violence in Manipur.

JNU Professor Bhagat Oinam made a serious allegation that the people of the Kuki community who have come from Myanmar in an unconstitutional manner have also got jobs in the Central Government, it is a matter of investigation as to who made documents of their being Indians.
 
 
Meanwhile, General Officer Commanding (GOC) Spear Corps met Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh and discussed the prevailing security situation in the state. "GOC Spear Corps called on the Hon'ble Chief Minister of #Manipur, Mr N Biren Singh; discussed the prevailing security situation and synergised ongoing efforts to provide humanitarian assistance and restore normalcy. Hon'ble Chief Minister lauded the efforts of Army and Assam Rifles @adgpi," Spear Corps, Indian Army tweeted.
