Dream run continues for The Kerala Story, crosses Rs 100 crore mark at the box office

Despite criticism by so-called liberals and leftists, The Kerala Story has managed to cross Rs 100 crore mark on Day 9 of its theatrical release on May 5.

The Kerala Story is continuing its dream run at the box office with almost all shows in major cities of India despite being banned in West Bengal. In yet another such development, Adah Sharma starrer The Kerala Story entered the Rs 100 crore club on Day 9 of its theatrical release on May 5. The Adah Sharma starrer earned Rs 12.35 crore on Friday (May 12), and Rs 19.50 crore on Saturday (May 13) taking its total to an impressive Rs 112.99 crore.

According to film critic Sumit Kadel, The Kerala Story has amassed Rs. 107 crore at the box office. This makes it the fourth film in 2023 to surpass the Rs 100 crore mark. Kadel shared on social media, "#TheKeralaStory has crossed ₹100 cr nett mark on its 9th Day (Saturday) at the box office. It becomes 4th film of 2023 after #Pathaan #TJMM & #KisiKaBhaiKisiKiJaan to cross cr mark. 2nd Saturday estimates HUGE ₹ 16-17 cr nett. ALL TIME BLOCKBUSTER."
 
Film critic Taran Adarsh also shared an update regarding the box office collection of The Kerala Story as he stated that the film has become the fourth Hindi film this year to cross the Rs 100 crore mark.

Notably, the movie is being criticised by all the Opposition parties, so-called liberals & intellectuals, leftists. It is already banned in Mamata Banerjee's West Bengal.
 
The film revolves around the story of non-Muslim women who are manipulated to convert to Islam and join the terrorist organisation ISIS.
