Tamil Nadu police arrest 3 Muslim men for kidnapping 16-year-old girl & sexually assulting her

In a spine-chilling development, three Muslim men Kidnapped a 16-year-old girl from the Pudukottai district when she was returning home from work and sexually assaulted her. The incident came to light after the Tamil Nadu police arrested three persons, Mubarak Ali, Riyas and Saddam Hussain under POCSO Act.

 

 

 

Police said the 16-year-old girl from the Pudukottai district was working as a worker at a private company in Manappari, Trichy. On May 1 while the minor was returning home from work, she was kidnapped by Mubarak, who is known to her and sexually exploited her.

 

Based on her mother’s complaint, Manappari police began investigations. After tracing her mobile number, police found that she was in Bengaluru.

 

A special police team immediately rushed to Bengaluru and secured three people along with the girl. During interrogation, it was revealed that the main accused, Mubarak Ali (32), from Vellore, befriended the girl through social media and they were in an affair for some time.

 

 

Though the duo did not meet, Ali had promised to marry the minor. On May 1, Ali arrived at Manappari to marry her and took her to Bengaluru. After reaching Bengaluru, he sexually assaulted her along with his friends, Riyas (32), and Sadam Hussain (28), of Vellore, by threatening her at knifepoint, police said.

 

All three have now been arrested and remanded. In another incident, the mother of a 19-year-old college girl complained to the police that her daughter had been missing and suspects that she might have been sold to foreign people. Sandhya, daughter of Selvaraj and resident of Kumarasamy second street, Erode Manalmedu, is studying B.Com in her second year in a private college.
