Another targeted killing in J&K! Hindu worker shot dead in Anantnag by terrorists

Anantnag, May 30: In yet another targeted killing in Jammu and Kashmir, terrorists fired upon a Hindu worker in Jammu and Kashmir's Anantnag district on Monday.

The deceased has been identified as Deepu, a resident of Udhampur who worked at a private circus mela at the park. He worked at an amusement park near Janglaat Mandi.
 
He was taken to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. A case has been registered in the matter, and an investigation is underway.
 
 
In February, a Kashmiri Pandit named Sanjay Sharma was killed by terrorists in Pulwama. One of the terrorists was gunned down by the police later that month, in an encounter in Awantipora.
 
At least four civilians were killed while seven others were critically injured in a firing incident in the Dangri area of the Rajouri district in the state in January this year.
 
In 2022, terrorists carried out nearly 30 attacks on civilians, killing 18 people including three Kashmiri Pandits, a bank manager from Rajasthan, a woman teacher from Jammu and eight non-local workers.
