New Delhi, May 30: Wrestlers, whose protesting sites have been cleared by the police following their detention on Sunday, have threatened to throw medals into the Ganga river in Haridwar on Tuesday evening as they believe that returning medals to President or Prime Minister would be a waste.
In a long post on Twitter, the protesting wrestlers said they slammed President Droupadi Murmu and PM Narendra Modi for not listening to their miseries.
Yesterday Rio Olympic bronze medallist Sakshi posted a video from her Twitter handle, clarifying that they have not given up. Whereas the Delhi Police categorically said that wrestlers will not be allowed to protest again at Jantar Mantar.

On Sunday, the Delhi Police detained ace Olympians like Vinesh Phogat, Bajrang Punia, and Sakshi Malik, saying the sportsperson violated law and order.
