Blatant Racism was displayed by China’s Ministry of public security (a Chinese equivalent of the Ministry of Home Affairs in India). The official account of the Ministry of public security has used the video of blackfaced Chinese performers who make videos while dancing to Bollywood tunes to teach people about road safety.

A renowned China watcher Adil Brar shared this on Twitter. He further said, “These videos of Chinese performers performing with blackface have gone viral in China!” “The Ministry of Public Security is one of two premier national security agencies in China. The video is being used to teach people the need to wear helmets while driving a bike and belts while driving a car. Insane!” “This time they are dancing to 'tunak tunak' while the guy asks the girl to ride on his bike.”

These videos are seen as mocking India, Indians, and Bollywood. In this specific video, the Chinese artists can be seen dressed as Sikh men with Blackface to make them look darker. The Chinese hatred of Indians and specifically against the Sikhs started during the Boxer Rebellion in China in 1900. In this Rebellion the British forces were made up of Indian troops which put down the rebellion, which were majority Sikh forces.

These Videos can and should be seen as anti-India and anti-Sikh propaganda by the Chinese Communist Party and the People’s Republic of China.
