Was Kashmir files a propaganda film? Yes, it was a propaganda film for all those who closed their eyes for years together on plight of Kashmiri Pandits. Those who knew about these massacres and kept mum said that situation was worse than what has been shown in the movie and sizable number of Muslims are included in this group. In fact, Kashmiri Muslims are more vocal about the entire issue than rest of Indians or even Kashmiri Pandits. They have their own reasons and logic too.

Today we are talking of The Kerala Story. The film which has been released on 05 May and story line is about three girls who have been converted, married and sent to ISIS. Number of converted girls are more and not all of them have been sent to ISIS. There is Love – Jihad being done in Kerala in an organised way, that is an open secret and people are aware of it.

So, what is the purpose of love jihad. There are various reports and authentic statements about it.

That is one broad purpose. However why only Malayali Muslims finds it attractive to join ISIS. The story is very clear. Kerala has been under the influence of Arab nations so long, Khilafat agitation and Malabar genocide have long established history. While Arab nations official do not support ISIS or in fact are against it because present rulers will lose their power, flow of money from their side in indirectly inducing people to convert has become a big motivation for so many.

Kerala story

This TOI report very clearly says that there are two authorised conversion centres in Kozhikode and Malappuram which converted 5793 people to Islam between 2011 and 2015, half of these were women and 76% are below 35 years of age. Why people are not interested to convert an old lady, reasons are not difficult to guess.

Kerala story

Not all, who converted went to join ISIS. This is what CM has to say. 100 Malayali joined ISIS and only six were neo converts.

Kerala story

Now, this is an established fact that Love Jihad is real, Malayali Muslims joined ISIS in some numbers. Three girls who converted and married to Malayali Muslims also joined ISIS and when they lost their husbands or ISIS was militarily defeated, they returned via Afghanistan and interviewed by media and RAW agents and this story actually leaked out. Shashi Tharoor also made a statement about it.

Now, what is this film – Kerala Story? What happens when the film is made? People see it and discuss it. It gets into mass communication and this is the reason why lot of people are against this film. Problem with Indian Psyche is that if we accept that there is Love Jihad, it will antagonise Muslim community. Let community know how others feel it. Otherwise, after 50 years they will say that it never happened. How long all these facts can be hidden, these have to be discussed openly otherwise consequences are too many at national and international level. Reconciliation of facts is the prerequisite to communal harmony in the country.

Now the same Shashi Tharoor is singing a different tune because there are Muslim voters in his constituency.

Kerala story

This is what I wrote to Shashi Tharoor.

Kerala story

So, where are we as Indian democracy. People are not ready that facts must be told without realising that if facts are not told, repercussions will be too much and too many, our girls will continue to suffer. People must know what has happened.

Freedom of expression must be protected and it cannot be one sided business only. Alternate facts must be respected.

Now, most of the detractors feel that these films are propaganda film and show Muslim community in negative light and communal polarisation increases. There is no doubt that these films show a community in negative light but what is the truth and what is the alternatives. Should the facts not be shown to people? If we do that, problem will aggravate. Suppression of facts will aggravate the problem as always. Harsh facts and mirror must be shown. It will give a chance to community to install remedial measures, otherwise tomorrow this situation will brew up. Films like this act as a safety valve and simultaneously these expose those anti nationals who are against India and its communal harmony.
