Economic growth, development in various sectors, effective infrastructural coverage, fast communication links, judicious planning in the agricultural sector, and increasing focus on science and technology; these and several other issues are awaiting good governance on the part of the government. Public administration is struggling to overcome various difficulties to serve the people.

In principle, the opposition political parties are aware of these challenges. These are even referred to in their respective electoral promises. However, when these are closer to the election days, each party individually and collectively, shares a common program of action. Deplete by cadres, they reach a common program as their only electoral plank to offer to the voters, through their public meetings and addresses. Obsessed by the invincible strength and successes of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the opposition parties are left with no other option but to join hands with each other (like the Gulliver and the Seven Dwarfs’ story ) to dethrone the BJP and its formidable Prime Minister. The invincible political master in the field of electoral gimmicks was outmaneuvered at times-obviously the cause being the absence of the dedicated cadre at the ground level esp. South India. Each time Narendrabhai Modi along with the BJP swung like a Phoenix.

Since the assumption of political power by Narendra Modi at the Centre, the political world in India saw a chain of unprecedentedly difficult policy and administrative decisions, which required a lion’s heart and very strong political willpower. Narendra Modi did not leave any stone unturned in weeding out the carriers of corruption designers and its executives. Several opposition stalwarts were brought to the limelight and unmasked for their misdeeds, directly and indirectly, finally booked, who were considered to be beyond legal frames. Barring the initial two decades immediately after the independence, the following period had become a free for all in the field of nepotism, briberies, corruption rackets, amassing personal wealth, etc. All these instances were on an unfettered rampage. Several patriots had become disappointed to witness the irrevocable gloomy state of affairs that the nation was ruled by a coterie led by a foreign-born family.

The political atmosphere had become a helpless future esp. in 2014.

Since his assumption of power, Narendra Modi was faced serious problems, of course, there was in no way a threat to his being in the Office, but one can’t presume. During the last 9 years, he successfully shot down as many as 17 attacks by the bone-less and shameless opposition parties whose only goal was to pull down Modi and his Government.
1. Adhar Card Case, 2 Triple Talaq Case, 3 Rafael Planes Case, 4. Demonetization decision, 5. EVM Case, 6. GST petition, 7. C A A Case, 8. Ayodhya Ram MandirCase, 9. Pegasus Case, 10. It is not necessary to explain each and every line, the scheme, and the policy in detail since by now all Indians are well informed about these, therefore it need not s to be repeated.

In view of the above, the greatest humorous fact is that what the ordinary citizens know and realize it, the political class in India i.e. the political parties and their leaders behave in a way as if they are totally unaware of the developmental work and its fruits or its outcome.
Certainly, at present, India is not what it was in 2014. The stage in which the opposition parties are daydreaming is as follows.

The Indian National Congress is out of power for almost a decade, therefore, it is yearning for power, esp. its royal mother and her kids (yes, these are still kids) who received high-profile royal treatment, during the preceding decade. Day by day the frustration of the INC is on the rise. The frustration has reached such a high level that the ‘learned’ scion of the royal family has to retreat to foreign soil and resort to abusing the ruling party of India and the Indian Prime Minister by exhibiting his and his family’s worthiness in Indian politics. It can be seen that, more than any other party it is the INC which is most restless and is in search of every opportunity to unseat Modi and the BJP from the seat of power.

The other political parties, most of them regional parties, are concerned with their respective states. These parties do not have a national panoramic compass. At the same time, history cannot ignore the initial years of our political independence, since 1947, it was the INC led by Mahatma Gandhi,

Sardar Patel and Pt. Nehru laid the foundation of several developmental projects and activities which bore fruits several decades later. One wonders, the same INC is seen stooped so low today which is one’s beyond expectations. The present INC is a group of power-hungry leaders, but most loyal to a family whose roots were in a foreign land
Naturally, the consequence is that the INC has fast lost its capability to understand the ground realities

Once upon a time, the INC had a national outlook, now it is gone. The diminishing process started in 1967 and still continues to further its race toward a labyrinth. That’s perhaps not good for the country. Now, the INC has become a synonym for a gathering selfish and power-hungry lot.

Fortunately, 2014 proved to be a turning point in Indian history. Narendra Modi has produced such an aura in the fields of international politics and relations, domestic development, economic development cooperative sector, industrial growth and rise in agro-produce, and so many other things. Nobody can ignore his slogan “Nation First “
In spite of quite a few drawbacks and problems like unemployment and, poverty, which in fact cannot be solved forever, Narendrabhai Modi is fighting out these issues carrying his team with him towards a New Bharat. The most tragic moment in the life of Indian parliamentary democracy is the boycott of the opposition parties at the inauguration ceremony of the new Houses of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha.

There are breathtaking instances and moments when the entire country is required to stand united. There are some issues that need to be considered beyond party politics. Political parties are required to learn and practice respecting every different political thought, in other words, political parties are required to understand the meaning of the famous saying - “let us agree to disagree”.

The phrase "agree to disagree" appeared in print in its modern meaning in 1770 when, at the death of George Whitefield, John Wesley wrote a memorial sermon that acknowledged but downplayed the two men's doctrinal differences:

There are many doctrines of a less essential nature ... In these we may think and let think; we may 'agree to disagree.' But, meantime, let us hold fast to the essentials.

George Whitefield ( b. 27 December 1714 – d. 30 September 1770), was an Anglican cleric and evangelist who was one of the also founders of Methodism and the evangelical movement.

The reference is made to a Christian evangelist priest George Whitefield who used this phrase for the first time, which in fact is the basis of human relations. In ancient India too tolerance and respecting opposite point of view was embedded as a prime virtue of our culture several centuries BC before the arrival of Christianity on this planet. In the Indian political diaspora, the absence of this principle is endangering the Indian parliamentary democracy.
It is Modi’s stature, popularity, and competence; his well-thought-out strategy and its effective implementation; his slogan “Ek Bharat—Shrestha Bharat” and most importantly his ascetic and clean character and dedication to his nation, i.e. Bharat are seen as a major hurdle by the opposition parties in fact such a Tamashiro. Not BJP, but Modi requires several mornings’ wayside pantries.

Therefore people remember the story of Gulliver and the Seven Dwarfs. The story tells that Gulliver on an isolated island was tied by 6 inch-tall Lilliput. The Indian opposition trying to rein in Modi’s juggernaut appears to be modern Lilliputs and nothing less.
