"Faizan had planned a criminal conspiracy using social media with his friends and other unidentified people to promote ISIS activities in India and spread the group's message on various social media platforms. According to the NIA, the conspiracy's goal was to carry out brutal terrorist strikes in India on behalf of ISIS.
According to investigations, Faizan and his companions had sworn loyalty to the Islamic State. He was also aggressively recruiting neo-converts to join the terrorist cause and radicalizing them in order to strengthen the cadre base of ISIS in India.
Faizan was in touch with ISIS handlers who were situated overseas and were assisting him in the recruiting process.
