Wokeism and Islam - 20

More than 1400 years ago, in the deserts of modern-day Saudi Arabia, a new religion called Islam was born its followers became known as Muslims. Before Islam, this desert area was a battleground for fighting tribes trying to snatch resources from other tribes in order to survive in the desert. The founder and the last prophet of Islam, Muhammad belonged to one such Quraysh tribe. After gathering many followers, these followers of Allah (the one and the only male god) began conquering regions by violence, loot, arson, and rapes which the Islamic empire spread throughout the world. The inherent soldier-like nature backed by Quranic verses openly calling for violence against non-believers has made Islam the second-largest religion in the world. The ‘religion of peace’ as it is called by its followers, has the same pattern of jihadi attacks in the name of Islam throughout the world even to this date.

Both these ideologies reject the ideas of science, reasoning, freedom, tolerance, progress etc. A few words of criticism are considered blasphemous by the wokes and the Islamists. One is not allowed to have a questioning mind, otherwise, you can get killed. Nupur Sharma, the former spokesperson of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) received death and rape threats after she questioned the deed of Prophet Muhammad on a live TV debate. The jihadis in India also killed a few people after they supported what Nupur said. The wokes have not reached this stage of blasphemy, but the future is near where you can get killed for not identifying the correct gender of an LGBTQIA+ person. Both ideologies reject science. Wokes have already rejected the scientific and biological concept of sex and gender being the same.

Both Islam and Wokes do not believe in democracy. Islam has a clear concept of Dar-al Islam (territory of Islam) and Dar-al Harb (territory of war). The history of Islam has probably very few examples of democracy. Woke people also do not believe in democracy. They believe only in one thing – if you are not with us, we are against you. So a democratic debate has no place in Wokeism. You are canceled if you speak a word against the concepts of woke people. Both ideologies reject the concept of nation-state.

For both Islamists and the woke the public should not be the key arbiter of political decision-making. Instead, they have an elitist notion of sovereignty. Islamists have a conception of a state based on Sharia (Islamic law) and on God’s rule. The public plays no role in this conception of sovereignty. For the woke elite the key decisions are best made by a technocratic elite – their secular version of a priesthood.

The wokes and the Islamic are anti-Semitic i.e. they both hate Jews. The rivalry between the Jews and Muslims is not new. It has a long history of violence and bloodshed. Israel has fought all its wars against Islamic rivals. These days, the woke people seem to have a special hatred for Israel. They are also using the same language for the Jews as they use for their hatred against the white people.

Islam and Wokeism have a special and never-ending bond with violence. The holy book of Islam, the Quran gives permission to Muslims to commit violence against the infidels/non-believers/kafirs. There is no need to list the verses which call for violence as the verses are openly available in the public domain. Despite this, the members of the so-called religion of peace have never said a word about this. The global jihadi attacks, riots, loots, and rapes are the actual implementations of the teachings of Islam. The ultimate goal of Cultural Marxism/Wokeism is to establish their rule by a violent revolution. Woke people have openly supported the violence and looting that spread across the US after the murder of George Floyd. The wokes openly support paedophiles (those who commit sexual violence against children).

Despite their differences, these similarities between Islam and Wokeism, make them a formidable force against people who do not subscribe to what these ideologies believe in.
