Chennai, September 12: Weeks after Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam's Udhayanidhi Stalin talks utter about Sanatan Dharma, now DMK minister openly accepted that the INDIA alliance was formed to fight Sanatan Dharma. This news came to light after a video of the incident went viral on social media erupting another controversy.
During the research, it came to light that the Higher Education minister, K Ponmudy, made remarks at the same conference to eradicate Sanatana Dharma, in which
Chief Minister MK Stalin’s son Udhayanidhi Stalin compared Sanatan Dharma with
Dengue and COVID-19.
While speaking at the anti-Hindu event, the
DMK Minister Ponmudi, said, "I.N.D.I.An alliance is formed to fight against the principles of Santana Dharma, We may have our differences among us but the 26 parties in the alliance are united in the fight against Santana Dharma but we need political power for that."
For unreserved, it should be noted that many leaders of the I.N.D.I.A an alliance has extended support for the Udhayanidhi Stalin. Priyank Kharge, son of the Opposition party's presidential candidate, Mallikarjun Kharge, recently has recently backed Stalin saying "Any religion that does not promote equality, any religion that doesn't ensure that you have the dignity of being a human being is not a religion, according to me. So it is as good as a disease."
There are some things which we have to eradicate and we can’t merely oppose. Mosquitoes, dengue fever, malaria, corona, all these are things which we cannot oppose, we have to eradicate them. Sanatana is also like this," he said. “I thank the organisers for giving me the opportunity to speak at this conference to eradicate
Sanatana Dharma. I congratulate the organisers for calling the conference as ‘eradicate Sanatana Dharma’ instead of ‘opposing Sanatana Dharma," he added.
The chief minister’s son further said, “Eradicating and not opposing Sanatanam should be our first task. What is Sanatanam? The name Sanatanam comes from Sanskrit. Sanatanam is against equality and social justice. The meaning of Sanatanam is nothing but ‘permanence’, something which cannot be changed. Nobody can question. This is the meaning of Sanatana."
It is very shocking that one minister of the state which has 89% Hindu population passed this remark under the freedom of speech. It is also frightful that no one from the alliance took a strong stand against the development
The statement from the ministers and the silence of the other parties clearly indicates I.N.D.I.An alliance haltered against Hinduism and Sanatan Dharma.
