In an unpredictable move, Khalistani terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, has recently threatened to kill Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Republic Day. The threat was also for Director General of Police (DGP) Gaurav Yadav.

Pannun asked gangsters in the state to join the banned outfit SFJ and stop top political leaders from attending the Republic Day parade. January 26 is when the entire nation celebrates the date on which the Constitution of India came into effect in 1950.

As per the video and an email which was accessed by the PTI, Pannun compared Mann with former Punjab chief minister Beant Singh, who was assassinated in a bomb blast on August 31, 1995.

For Unreserved,a Sikh separatist group assassinated Beant Singh in a bomb blast at the secretariat complex in Chandigarh on 31 August 1995. Dilawar Singh Babbar of Babbar Khalsa International acted as the suicide bomber; later, the backup bomber Balwant Singh Rajoana was also convicted of the killing. The bomb was so strong that it shattered windows up to the sixth floor of the 10-story government building and blew away part of the porch in front of the VIP entrance. The blast had claimed the lives of 17 others. The banned terror group carried it out — Babbar Khalsa International.

Intrestingly, Aam adami leader Bhagwant Mann is accused of supporting Khalistan and Pannun, and there are certain credible reports suggest that the Khalistani moment is inentsifiying in Punjab under his rule. The Sikh For Justice (SFJ) founder and designated terrorist Pannun's threat is quite puzzeling and fishy.

Not just Punjab CM and police cop, Pannun also dared Prime Minister Narendra Modi to attend the Republic Day parade without security in one of the videos of Pannun. In the purported video, Pannun was heard saying: "I dare Modi, you come to Delhi without your security. If you are a popular leader, come to Delhi on R-Day without security and SFJ is going to avenge the assassination of Shaheed Nijjar by raising the Khalistan flag."

This is the latest in the series of threats the Sikh For Justice (SFJ) founder and designated terrorist, Pannun, issued against Indian establishments and authorities.Earlier this month, the Khalistani terrorist had also threatened the consecration ceremony of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya on January 22 and asked Muslims to oppose the mega event.

Meanwhile, the US authorities indicted an Indian national, Nikhil Gupta, for his alleged involvement in a plot to kill Pannun in the US in November last year. According to US officials, Gupta had agreed to pay $100,000 to an assassin to carry out the killing. Gupta was arrested in the Czech Republic on the request of US authorities.
