Rajasthan Police bust illegal Beef Mandi in Alwar: 600 cows slaughtered monthly; Ibbar, Aslam, Saddam, Khalid, and others booked

Alwar, Feb 21: The Rajasthan police busted illegal beef mandi in Alwar in which 600 cows were slaughtered every month was razed and booked Ibbar, Aslam, Saddam, Khalid, and others. As per reports, police were also involved with them and four policemen have been suspended so far. Additionally, the administration has also reportedly taken bulldozer action on the beef mandi.

The illegal beef mandi was near Rundh Gidawada gorges near Kishangarhbas, Birsangpur village wherein about 600 cows were slaughtered every month in this Beef mandi. Additionally, it was operating Home delivery of beef in over 50 villages through a WhatsApp group and was supplying beef to about 300 shops.

The incident came to light after Dainik Bhaskar reported it. Following the reports of illegal crime emerged, under the leadership of IG Umesh Chandra Datt of Jaipur Range, raids were conducted in those forests of the Baas area, where cow slaughter was claimed to be happening.
 
 

The IG has put 38 police staff including SHO Dinesh Meena of Kishangarhbas police station on the line for a fair investigation. Along with this, four policemen – ASI Gyan Chand, Head Constable Raghuveer, Beat Constable Swayam Prakash and Ravikant have been suspended.

An FIR has been filed against 22 individuals under the stringent Rajasthan Bovine Act, covering sections 3, 4, 5, 8, and 9 of the RB Act. This legal action has led to the arrest of several people, including Ratti Khan, Sahun, Mausam, Haroon, Jabbar son of Kallu, Aleem, Aslam, Kamil, and Saddam, all residents of Mirzapur. The charges extend to others as well, namely Khalid's son Abdul Karim, Fakru, Mormal, Khalid, Salim, Qayyum, Kasam, Habbi, and Mausam, marking a determined effort by law enforcement to confront this issue head-on.
