New Delhi, Mar 18: In a horrifying crime, 13 MBBS female students of Baba Saheb Ambedkar Medical College were sexually assaulted by Salim Sheikh who is an Assistant Professor at the institution. Hindu organisations and women groups were seen protesting outside the college on Monday.
According to reports, these female students have accused the professor of sexual assault and physical abuse by him during the time of viva. He used to ask ill-suited questions and inappropriately touch their private parts. Following such a spine-chilling crime, the female students have registered an FIR against the professor.
Protest erupts
To seek justice against Salim Sheikh, protests were conducted by Hindu organisations and women groups outside the college with placards saying, "Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Medical College Ko Sandeshkhali Nahin Banane Denge" (Will not let turn Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Medical College to Sandeshkhali). This refers to heinous crime carried out by TMC goons against thousands of women in Sandeshkhali who were brutally assaulted and raped.

Slogans against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal were also raised for not taking action against Salim Sheikh. Police have been deployed where the protests are taking place.
