A shocking development has came to light solapur district, where Muslim students offered Namaz without permission inside the classroom at the Polytechnic Government College, Solapur. The come amid the Islamic month of Ramzan.

The incident came to front after a video of the same where Muslim students could be seen offering Namaz inside the classroom of a government college. It is being said that incident took place on the 21st and 22nd of March.
 
 
The video was first shared by Sahyadri Rights Forum. Tagging the National Commission for Protection Of Child Rights NCPCR, Maharashtra Chief Minister, it "Concerning video from Solapur's Gov. Polytechnic Clg, where Muslim students collectively performed namaz during class. This religious observance in a state institution raises serious concerns. Authorities must address this issue promptly."
 
The Muslim students had initially sought permission from the college authorities to leave early from the college premises to attend the Ramzan prayers. However, the college had denied permission citing college rules and regulations that universally apply to all the students. The students then chose to offer Namaz in the class itself.
 
When the other students complained about the disturbance. However, the college authorities failed to take any action against the students. Several Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) activists raised their voices against the incident.
