With a focus on self-reliance and boosting domestic defense production, AeroDef India 2024 seeks to strengthen supply chains and align MSME innovations with the requirements of defense OEMs. This alignment will facilitate the sourcing of components, input materials, assemblies, and sub-assemblies from the growing Indian defense MSME sector. Such interactions are expected to encourage research and development, a key challenge for smaller enterprises.

"AeroDef India 2024 offers a unique platform for Indian and international aerospace and defense equipment manufacturers to source raw materials, components, sub-assemblies, and finished products," said Dr. Sukhjinder Singh, Founder & President of the SDLC. The event also provides MSMEs the opportunity to showcase their capabilities, skills, and manufacturing expertise to OEMs, strategic partners, and PSUs.

The previous three editions of AeroDef India have connected over 100 MSMEs with defense manufacturing units, including PSUs, OFBs, and Indian and international private manufacturers. This year's event anticipates an even more significant turnout, attracting a diverse group of visitors, including procurement, supply chain, and production heads from DPSUs like HAL, BEML, and DRDO, as well as Indian private companies such as Tata Advanced, Aditya Birla Group, Kalyani Group, Godrej, L&T, Reliance, and international majors like Lockheed Martin and Raytheon.

AeroDef India 2024 will feature a diverse range of specialties, including specialty materials, composites, alloy sensors, controls, instrumentation, automation and robotics, design engineering and IT solutions, electronics components, semiconductors, deep electronics solutions, maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO), testing, simulation, prototyping, engineering and processing, casting, forging, sheet metal, forming, component manufacturing and suppliers, and other tools and suppliers such as fabric and glass.

SDLC is committed to promoting sustainable manufacturing practices, clean energy transition, green supply chains, circular economy initiatives, and equitable growth in the Indian industry. Through strategic partnerships and collaborative efforts, the organization aims to foster innovation and resilience while promoting environmental stewardship and social responsibility.
