Alwar, Oct 23: Exhibiting the unyielding valor and state-of-the-art combat readiness of India's frontline defenders, Indo-Tibetan Border Police ( ITBP ) Director General Shatrujeet Kapur addressed troops during the prestigious Himveer Samman ceremony at the Central Training College in Alwar, Rajasthan. The briefing highlighted the unwavering stance of Indian forces deployed across the high-altitude frontiers, reinforcing India's strict sovereign posture.

Speaking on the localized, persistent friction points managed by the force along the Line of Actual Control (LAC), the ITBP Chief delivered direct confirmation of the ground realities. "In the past few days, a situation arose where a face-off happened at several locations in Arunachal, and it still continues," Kapur stated openly.

However, the chief noted that India's frontline responses remain decisively robust, anchored by specialized new personnel assets. He revealed that the newly raised elite Shaurya commandos successfully displayed their specialized skills during the "ongoing" face-off with the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) troops. The deployment signals a new tier of combat flexibility. Kapur affirmed that the commandos would eventually be deployed "in every border battalion" to significantly anchor combat readiness along the 3,488-km frontier.

Addressing the shift toward asymmetric warfare paradigms, the ITBP chief pointed out that conventional numbers alone cannot decide modern frontiers. Highlighting that "drones and technology represent the future of warfare," he noted that technological agility gives smaller, agile forces a unique opportunity to challenge larger militaries.

ITBP is drastically scaling up localized defensive assets. Kapur asserted that building fortified "underground shelters" remains a priority under this new style of border warfare to completely shield operations from modern eye-in-the-sky threats.

While desperate opposition factions predictably attempted to spin these routine tactical details into a political row to question the government's silence, strategic experts note that Kapur’s address highlights a hyper-vigilant, modernizing Indian state. Government sources quickly reinforced that Kapur’s comments reflected standard "routine deployment and preparedness," ensuring that India's proactive asymmetric border defense remains rock-solid against external pressure.
