Speaking about the upcoming World Hindu Congress, Swami Vigyananand Ji, Initiator of the World Hindu Congress, said, “[Hindu society today is more visible and respected across the world than ever before, but this is not the time to rest. The World Hindu Congress is a strategic and structured movement to position Hindus globally in key areas of influence such as the Economy, Education, Academia, Media, and Politics. It provides a platform for Organisations, Activists and Individuals to connect, collaborate, and contribute with a shared commitment and collective resolve.
He further emphasised that WHC 2026 will feature four special plenary sessions – Dharma, Samaj, Vishwakarma and Bhasha.
The Dharma plenary will bring together spiritual leaders representing diverse Dharmic traditions, sampradayas, spiritual institutions and philosophical schools from Bharat and other parts of the world, providing a platform for dialogue and exchange on the role of Dharma in contemporary society.
The Samaj plenary will focus on the social dimension of Hindu society and bring together experts and representatives from different communities, traditions and social institutions to deliberate on social cohesion, community development and the challenges before Hindu society.
The Bhasha plenary will highlight the rich linguistic diversity of Hindu society, recognising the role of Bharat and the global Hindu community’s many languages in preserving civilisational knowledge, literature, traditions and cultural identity.
The Vishwakarma plenary will focus on skills, skilled workforce, entrepreneurship, innovation and the contribution of artisans, craftsmen and professionals to economic and social development. It will explore ways to strengthen the dignity of skilled work and create greater opportunities for the next generation.
The theme of World Hindu Congress 2026 is “Samanam Vratam Saha Chittam – Shared Commitment, Collective Resolve.” Hindus are a global community of over 1.2 billion people, living in nearly 180 countries.
