The projects aim to expand public amenities and improve livelihood opportunities at the grassroots level. The Chief Minister also said that approval letters and cheques would be distributed to beneficiaries of various government welfare schemes during the programme.

In a post on X, Yogi Adityanath said the state government's 'double-engine' administration was committed to ensuring that development projects improve public facilities and welfare schemes benefit people at the last mile.

Highlighting the economic impact of the Deepotsav celebrations in Shri Ayodhya Dham, the Chief Minister said the festival was creating new employment and business opportunities for local artisans, farmers and small-scale traders.
He noted that the large-scale celebration, illuminated by hundreds of thousands of lamps, was providing economic support to potters, labourers and small business owners.

According to Yogi Adityanath, every lamp used during Deepotsav represents an opportunity for local potters, while the increased demand for festival-related products also benefits farmers and small traders.

The Chief Minister also criticised previous governments in Uttar Pradesh, alleging that before 2017, there was a lack of initiatives to connect Ayodhya's cultural and religious significance with the economic development of local communities.

He said the present government, under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, had worked to transform the festival into an opportunity for livelihood generation and local economic growth.

Describing Deepotsav as a combination of cultural faith and economic activity, Yogi Adityanath said the celebrations were bringing new opportunities to hardworking families in the region.

The Chief Minister reiterated that the government's development approach focused on improving public infrastructure while ensuring that the benefits of welfare schemes reached people at the grassroots level.
