The precarious political turmoil in the boiling parliamentary democratic Bharatiya “republic” has stunned the poor , helpless citizens have become victims of the uncontrolled situation. Watching the live proceedings of both the Houses of the Parliament in Bharat has turned so disgusting that one feels like switching off the telecasting forthwith !
The ghost of Macaulay and his legacy have clung to the neck of the citizenry here in Bharat , leaving it numbed.
The definition of Politics could be anything, as for now it appears that manipulation , deceit and money-muscle power---all three factors combined resulting into achieving some objective already decided in advance. The budget session of Parliament began with a steady note, and it was hoped that it would proceed with a peaceful tune. The Modi government is characterised by the pace and ethos with which it completes its task, that of the ruling as well as the opposition members of the House find themselves lagging far behind, left wayward. The voters or the electors of the House soon were disillusioned . Following the preceding parliamentary sessions held so far, the present “Budget session”, also seems to have gone to waste. Citizens were disappointed. Despondency and anger must have rained these. There was no answer to such a situation.

The tenure of the present Parliament, it was evident that the defeated UPA government , out of sheer frustration , despaired of engulfing the ousted leaderless political party , i.e. Indian National Congress , naturally had become restless. Gloom had covered the psyche of INC. On the one hand, INC had lost its structural organization and an army of volunteers thereof, and on the other hand the INC was rejected by the voters. It will be interesting to note that the reason for such a pathetic condition is a matter that needs to be thoroughly analysed, and to realise the condition of a once-upon-a-time a national-level political group, now bogged down, hiding its existence from the real world around. A political party which has been in power , occupying the driver's seat for a long time in the past, moreover, narrating on its own volition as the principal actor instrumental in securing political independence for the country, laments over the tragic, traumatic atmosphere it was in, the fate that befell it, and is seen as annoying. An inexplicable doubt at times is voiced as to whether the party could survive for long in future. In the words of the Prime Minister , Narendrabhai Modi, in the real sense of the term, whether the Bharatiya nation is going to be “Congress-mukta” ?
The Bharatiya nation cannot afford to forget that the INC as a political party was founded by a foreigner ( i.e. Sir A.V.Hume ) during the British rule in order to supplement the “Raj’ at the cost of rich Bharatiya civilization and culture , and perhaps the Bharatiya nation secured its end too.
A common man in the street has been wondering, or perhaps it would be better if it were put up that now the voters are repenting over their folly when they elected their representatives in the Lok Sabha , as these appear as at present.
The current parliamentary session ( placed in Office in 2024 ) has turned out to be a serious affair. The plight of the . Indian National Congress , disturbed , destroyed and displaced from the position of power, the plight of the Indian National Congress had naturally become poor and pathetic. The nostalgic memoirs of the power-hungry days of pseudo-philanthropic gestures by the ousted party could not be tolerated by the party's remnants. Its plight had become like someone drowning , trying to swim and save himself. These crestfallen leaders were hiding their frustrations from their faces; in attempting these , they inadvertently committed many more mistakes and follies , which led them to precipitate more disastrous steps.
On 4th / 5 th February 2026 , that happened on the floor of the lower House of the Parliament , i.e. the Lok Sabha , could be considered not only as disastrous but close to the description as a “death nail” for the modern parliamentary world Western democratic practices , the latest one added.
Citizenry , between the age groups of sixty and one hundred or say , those who were born during the British rule , have become restless since they have lived a life of uncertainty and fear .
Is it a precursor ? Aren’t Bharatiyas inviting INC-led anarchy? The Indian National Congress (INC) was founded in 1885 by Allan Octavian Hume, an Englishman and former British civil servant. After Sir Macaulay , it was Sir A.V.Hume who is required to be given the discredit of corrupting the socio-cultural ethos of the Bharatiya society. Much later , it was again Sir Winston Churchill who had opposed the British plan to grant full independence status since the Indians were not mature enough .
The following two video clips telecast by Sansad-TV , need to be taken very seriously and consider, and take measures at the earliest if at all Bharat, if Bharat as a nation has to preserve.
After watching the proceedings on the floor of the Lok Sabha on 4th / 5th February’26 , the Bharatiya citizens were shocked to witness quite a different and fearful scenes , of a criminal nature , beyond the imagination of a hardcore goon . When the leader of the opposition was denied permission by the Speaker of the Lok Sabha to refer to a matter unconnected with the “thanks giving resolution” regarding the Presidential address to the “budget session’ of the parliament, half a dozen women parliamentarians walked to the Prime Minister’s seat with a criminal and clear intention of physically hurting the Prime Minister , waiting for him to reach his seat on entering in the House .
Fortunately, this sudden development of events reached the Speaker of the House, who , considering the seriousness of the grave situation, wasted no time and quickly informed the Prime Minister, who was ready to leave his chamber and walk down towards the House to attend and participate in its proceedings. The Speaker was in his own Chamber. The House was waiting for the Prime Minister to arrive in . Instead, the Speaker entered the House and informed the members of the turn of events that happened . He then allowed the House to pass the ‘Thanks giving resolution’ to be tabled and pass without the routine Prime Minister’s reply. The treasury benches were quite convinced about the dangerous moments surreptitiously creeping in. The Speaker’s prompt warning to the Prime Minister not to join the House , averted the unprecedented disastrous hour. Ascertaining the evil designs of the frustrated ousted party, the INC , the Parliamentary Affairs Minister, ordered the in-House video shooting of the incident to be released and telecast it for the knowledge of the world. If such a conspiracy were true, it could be the beginning of the end of Bharatiya modern parliamentary democracy.
In another video-clip that depicts the Speaker’s chamber, crowding and invaded by around 10/12 MPs who have entered the Chamber and using abusive and indecent language , bullying the atmosphere around aggressively demanding explanation for his attitude towards LoP’s case. This incidence indicates sufficient amount of evidence of INC having lost its cool , sanity , patience and rationale –factors , which is a precondition of parliamentary democracy.
The ugly scenes ! It is interesting to note that the sea voyagers turned military invaders / Vikings , sailing from across the seas from the far-off UK and who ruled Bharat , impacted the native society here in Bharat and led it to develop into a political society which would be following the footsteps of Western society. The foreign imperial rulers made concerted and consistent efforts to undermine and destroy the DNA of the Bharatiya society. These were successful to a large extent, too.
The election slogan “Congress Mukta Bharat” , heard in 2013-14 during the Parliamentary General Elections , the genesis of which was drawn , coined and traced by the then BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Damodardas Modi, was structured in the early 1950’s by Dr.Shyamaprasad Mookerjee, while contending that “an alternative to the Congress could be made available in the Bharatiya polity , if Nehru’s image is demolished”, this was stated by erstwhile veteran journalist Durga Das ( in his work “India : ( from Curzon to and after Nehru” , RUPA , 2018 , pg.402 ).
The way out is very hard . It will require tremendous amount of self confidence, determination and unassailable faith reposed in the complete unity of Bharat , irrespective of their worshipping methods as brought out by Dr.Mohan nj Bhagwat The above-mentioned video-clips and an Amendment to Art. 1 of the Constitution of India at the earliest must alert the citizenry to think seriously about the future of this ‘Sanatana Nation’.
