On Monday, 27th April, Maharashtra Police filed an FIR against one individual identified as Jaib Jubair Ansari for brutally attacking two security guard personnel in the Mira Bhayander region of Mumbai. The accused used a sharp knife to attack the victims, identified as Rajkumar Mishra and Subroto Ramesh, who are undergoing treatment at Wockhardt Hospital. The victims were reportedly attacked only for belonging to the Hindu religion and refusing to recite the Kalma.
As per the exclusive information obtained by Newsbharati, the incident is said to have happened at around 4 am on 27th April. The victims were employed to secure an under-construction site named 'Asmita Grand Mansion' in the Nayanagar area of Mira Road. The Nayanagar police station took immediate cognizance of the event and filed a complaint under sections 109, 118(2), 196(1) of Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita, 2023.
The video of the incident has been exclusively obtained by Newsbharati. As per the local reports, the accused attacked the victims for refusing to read Kalma. The accused, Ansari, arrived at the spot and asked the victims if they were Hindus or Muslims. The accused then asked them to read the Kalma after learning that the duo were Hindus.
