Tamil Nadu: Islamist caught red-handed capturing obscene secret photos of woman, netizens express outrage, video viral

On May 22, a video made rounds on social media showing an elderly man wearing an Islamic skull cap stalking a young woman and capturing obscene pictures of her. The video has sparked outrage over social media, raising concerns about women's safety again. 

In the viral video, a woman railway police officer can be seen interrogating the elderly man about his act of taking pictures. Later, she can also be seen giving her basic police treatment while dragging him to the police station. On checking his phone, the police officer sees a lot of obscene pictures of a woman passenger over the platform.

 

 

Bystanders recorded the entire episode as the elderly Muslim man gestured beside a red train. As of now, the exact location of the incident and the timing of the event are not known. But from the language heard in the video, it can be learned that the video is from the state of Tamil Nadu. 

 

Meanwhile, one of the BJP leaders and actor Sashi Kumar Subramony confirmed that the incident happened in the state of Tamil Nadu. 

 

 

"A chilling women’s safety breach from a TN railway station: a Muslim man was nabbed for secretly snapping a woman, only for cops to uncover 3,000+ covert shots of unsuspecting women on his phone. Video shows commuters confronting him furiously on the platform," Subromony was quoted as saying.

 

 

 

Netizens expressed outrage over the incident, saying that this is what the community people were known for. "They have only one thing on their mind always, and when caught, they cry victimhood and mental issues.. They're incorrigible!" one of the users said.

 

"He is definitely a tharki chacha," the other one said. "Now his community will cut the video and just show this thug getting beaten and play the victim card," the other one added.
