Content creator Orhan Awatramani, popularly known as Orry, has once again stirred up his ongoing feud with leftist YouTuber and 'political commentator' Dhruv Rathee. In a recent conversation, Orry criticized Rathee, labeling him “anti-national” and alleging that he selectively addresses topics that align with his own narrative.

Orry recently appeared on the KK Create podcast, where he opened up about his dislike for leftist YouTuber and political commentator Dhruv Rathee. He said his frustration stemmed from being featured in the thumbnail of one of Rathee’s videos, despite appearing only briefly in the content. “I don’t like him because he used me in the thumbnail of his video. I ended up watching the entire 20-minute video thinking it was about me, only to find that I was there for barely two seconds. It felt like clickbait and was torture for me,” Orry said.

Orry was talking on a podcast named Learn By KK Create, the original link of which is here.

He further exposed Rathee of selectively discussing topics that align with his viewpoint, claiming that the YouTuber only addresses issues that support his preferred narrative while overlooking others. “I feel he covers topics very conveniently when they fit his narrative. I don’t follow all of his content, but sometimes he says things that don’t make sense, and when certain issues deserve attention, he doesn’t talk about them. I just don’t like the guy,” Orry remarked.

Notably, last year, Orry publicly defended his friend Janhvi Kapoor after YouTuber and political commentator Dhruv Rathee released a video titled The FAKE Beauty of Bollywood Celebrities, in which he alleged that the actor had undergone cosmetic procedures. Reacting strongly to the video, Orry criticized Rathee and labeled him “anti-nationalist.”

Sharing his views in the comments section of an Instagram reel discussing the controversy, Orry came out in support of Janhvi, writing, “She probably doesn’t even know who he is.” He further accused Rathee of creating such content to attract attention. In another comment, Orry wrote, “I only know him as that anti-nationalist who complains about not getting papped at a train station despite having followers.”

Rathee has also faced criticism from several public figures, including actors Rupali Ganguly and Gul Panag, over comments he made about Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In a post on X, Rathee had stated that “Modi deserves to be humiliated everywhere he goes” and urged foreign journalists to question the Prime Minister during his overseas visits.

Responding to the remarks at the time, Gul Panag said that while disagreement with a Prime Minister or government is a legitimate part of democracy, attempting to diminish the stature of India’s Prime Minister on foreign soil did not, in her view, constitute constructive dissent.
