Kolkata, November 17: BJP leader Mukul Roy who recently left his old party TMC recently alleging dictatorship and corruption, has moved to Delhi High Court against West Bengal government with the allegation of phone tapping. He has filed a case in Delhi High Court alleging that his mobile phones were being tapped for many months now.
"Recently Babul Supriyo, minister of state for Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises, also alleged that mobile phones of selected individuals were being tapped in the state of West Bengal," the plea said. Mukul Roy also said that he cannot talk on the phone and am forced to use Whatsapp call facility to speak to people.
Ironically when Left Front was in power then opposition leader and present Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee alleged the same complaint against the left government. Now opposition leaders are making the same complaint against him.
“Being a political leader, I have some friends and well-wishers in the police, IPS circle and in central agencies. They have alerted me on this,” Mukul Roy said.
