New Delhi, December 19: Watch-out..! Be careful..! The government has an eye on you. Inspite of government making these many reforms and yojana for the benefit of the public, there are some people who act as back-stabbers in the development of our country. One such instance is one that of ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’. The two year old yojana focuses on development and employment of women and also encourages education for females. The initiative has made a lot of changes in the outlook of people and made it mandatory for the people to educate the children particularly female kids, mainly focusing on generating awareness and improve welfare services planned for girls. The initiative had generated immense popularity in no given time. However there are reports of fake form being filled by many duped girls/women.

Off lately there are reports of fake forms being filled under ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’. Basically “Fake Form” is an application form which receives any form of benefits either in kind or cash which is not prescribed or issued by the Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India. The Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao has never initiated any kind of cash or transferable component by Government of India. There is no DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) scheme issued by the Government. This matter is viewed in many states and it was started in Uttar Pradesh and then spread to many other nearby areas like Haryana, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Delhi. As the issue of fake forms is spreading widely the government has taken this matter into consideration and notified the authorities about the same.

The Government is issuing public notice so that people do not fall prey to these misleading and false activities. This is done by advertising these problems through the medium of print media; TV’s, Social Media, Radio, Ministry’s website by the State Government. The government is also warning the people to not disclose any personal details to anyone and should complaint for such fraudulent schemes.

The WCD Ministry has decided that hence forth, if they receive any such fraud forms or illegal forms they would summarily dispose off the forms without any prior notice. A notification to this effect has been issued and can be seen on the Ministry’s Website.
