Radiostic welcome and goodbye: Goa airport to have its own radio channel for flyers

Panaji, December 25: To enhance the airport experience radio channel Indigo 91.9 FM joined hands with AAI (Airports Authority of India) and launched Goa Airport Radio at Goa International Airport. The service will have specially curated music for passengers at the airport.

In addition, Goa Airport Radio would have its exclusive Jocky who would enthral the passengers by interacting with them, announcing the utility and flight related information together with playing passengers’ favourite music.

B C H Negi, Airport Director, Goa International Airport, said, “Goa is one of the most popular holiday destination in India and major portion of the passenger mix at Goa Airport is young and middle aged vacationers. He further added that Goa Airport is unique in the kind of passengers it handles. As per the demographic data of the Passengers travelling through Goa Airport, more that 65 per cent of the passengers are below 40 years of age. Keeping this passenger profile in mind and to improve the customer experience, AAI has decided to launch the radio station at Goa airport in association with Indigo 91.9FM.
