Pune, December 25: Sleeping on the half torn beds, eating that tasteless food in railways are all things of the past. Changes are welcomed by the people and now the Railway Ministry has decided to start the new Shatabdi Express by providing new and improved safety and hygiene standards for the passengers. Under the Swarna Project, the Shatabdi Express will be unveiled with improvements in its coach.

Earlier the maintenance of the train coaches was overlooked by the officials. The half torn beds, uncleaned washrooms, untidy blankets and pillows were like a nightmare for the people travelling from the trains. But now the authority has given the express a new fresh look by improving the amenities, safety issues are also taken into consideration. Odour control system has also been installed on these trains.

Another benefit of these revamped trains is that the catering menu has been changed and the staff will also have new uniforms for serving the people.

The exterior of the train has anti-graffiti coating. Aesthetics play an important role in upgrading the train. The exclusive coaches are given disposable headrest cushions. Braille signs are given for people who are visually impaired. Also the people are provided with entertainment facility which includes wifi, HD streaming and more.

Commendable changes are seen in the railway sectors as their motto aims towards more safety of the passengers.
