New Delhi, December 28: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has come up with weird campaign line urging people to make donations for the party if they're angry that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal wasn't invited for Magenta Line inauguration.

"Delhi Chief Minister wasn't invited for Metro Magenta Line inauguration. If you are angry donate," according to an e-mail from AAP outreach was sent to all those who have subscribed to AAP's newsletters.

The e-mail, sent by Krishnaraj, read, "Ever since we found that Delhi CM is not invited for the inauguration of Magenta line Delhi Metro, we got emails, tweets, posts pouring outrage."

"Yes, I share your sentiments. Yes, my blood also boils. Yes, it's not the first time and yes, it won't be the last time. So what can I do, what can you do?"

Following this emotional message, the outreach team asked the party supporters to donate Rs 100 for a cause- which they failed to explain. The link's icon is an orange rectangle which reads as, "Make Your Anger Count."

Netizens are having a field day over the campaign, suggesting hilarious lines to AAP. Notably, the Aam Aadmi Party often invokes emotions to appeal to its supporters to donate for the organisation.

The Metro's 12.38-km stretch of the Magenta Line, connecting Botanical Garden in Noida in Uttar Pradesh with Kalkaji Mandir in south Delhi, was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the presence of Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath on 25 December.
