Kiran Mazumdar Shaw hails Real-time Governance module of Chandra Babu Naidu

Bangalore, December 29: Appreciating the newly launched Real-time Governance (RTG) platform of Andhra Pradesh government, Veteran Business leader Kiran Mazumdar Shaw urged political class to emulate the good governance module for better transparency and accountability. 

The Chairman and Managing Director of Biocon, took to Twitter and shared a snap from the cabinet meeting under the Chairmanship of Chandra Babu Naidu. Recently, President Ram Nath Kovind also took the stock of the war room developed by state administration during his state visit and also hailed the unique initiative.

Real-time Governance, a brainchild of techno-savvy Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, who paved way for technological transformation and brought the city of Hyderabad on the global map. During his tenure as the Chief Minister of undivided Andhra Pradesh, Babu had relentlessly worked for creating a business-friendly environment in Andhra Pradesh.

According to state officials, the main aim of RTG tool is to strengthen the course of administration and governance using technological intervention like e-governance, new age technology, and electronic communication.




The Department of RTG (Real Time Governance), launched on September 6, keeps track of all the administrative affairs of the coastal state. Chief Minister Naidu regularly monitors the developments of various arms of the government through this platform. The RTG also deals with information from all the 13 districts on local data and takes action on various matters.

The Real-time Governance Centre also addresses the issues reported by citizens and provides time-bound solutions. The digital module also looks after the social media traffic and provides an effective medium for public engagement. A call center has also been constituted as an internal grievance redressal platform.
