Nairobi, September 14: Whenever we see a picture of the animal Giraffe we usually see an animal of bright orange brown color. But can you imagine of a white Giraffe? Yes, it seems impossible yet two white giraffes have been spotted in Kenya. Basically, the Reticulated Giraffes have a genetic condition called leucism. The giraffes have also been filmed and as claimed only the third known sighting of a white giraffe. The genetic condition prevents pigmentation in skin cells and results in a white, pale color.
“They were so close and extremely calm and seemed not disturbed by our presence. The mother kept pacing back and forth a few yards in front of us while signaling the baby giraffe to hide behind the bushes.” HCP group wrote.
