New Delhi, January 16: To cure a disease, the diagnosis is very important. Hence to curb dropout children across India, Centre and States have decided to identify the number of children out of school in the country. Along with it that, “Operation Digital Board” will also be launched.
‘Operation Digital Board’ is planned to be launched in all schools in five years. This will be undertaken jointly by Centre, State, CSR, and community. This will improve the quality of education. Students will be empowered with 360 degree information with interesting learning experience and teacher accountability will also increase.
An existing committee is already working on the issue which will submit a report on January 31. The committee suggested for a standardized definition of children out of school and joint surveys by states. In various reports from CABE sub-committee, suggestions have been made to provide Aadhar card to students and introduction of pre-primary education in government schools.
