Don’t want to quit electoral politics: BJP leader Bandaru Dattatreya

Refuting all the media reports, senior BJP leader Bandaru Dattatreya said that he does not have any aspiration for the post of Governor. 

Speculations were at rife about Dattatreya’s appointment for the office of Governor after the recent elevation of former Gujarat Chief Minister Aandiben Patel. Speaking to the media, the former Union minister maintained that he does not want to quit the electoral politics and expressed his wish of contesting 2019 general election from Secunderabad.

Commenting on the tug of war over the Kaleshwaram project, the Secunderabad stated that TRS Government under the leadership of K. Chandrasekhar Rao should thank NDA government for extending financial aid for various infrastructure and irrigation project including the mega Kaleshwaram project, a dream project of KCR. Dattatreya also took a jibe at Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan for not mentioning center’s role in clearing major hurdles.
