Mumbai, January 5: This might give you a reason to celebrate love and even get married or get into a relationship at least because a new study has found that married people face less psychological stress than unmarried individuals.

According to a recent study, people who are married live better, satisfying and more fulfilling lives. Apart from that, it feels so satisfying knowing that someone loves you so much and is willing to spend the rest of life with you. For all these and many more, married people have many reasons to be happy.

In a paper published in the Journal of Happiness Studies, researchers conducted two separate surveys to examine the benefits of marriage and marital friendships.

The British Household Panel Survey had collected data from 30,000 people between 1991 and 2009, to get a sense of how overall life satisfaction measured in the UK.

Also, the Annual Population Survey between 2011 and 2013, with detailed data on 328,000 Britons revealed the differences between life satisfaction rates among married, unmarried, and the never-married for all age groups in the UK.
