In her recent interaction with Deccan Chronicle, the actress thanked makers for considering her name for Sridevi’s character. “I have always been a big fan of hers and playing the diva on screen is a huge responsibility” she mentioned.
On the 94th birth anniversary of yesteryears legendary actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao, makers of NTR biopic unveiled the first look poster of actor Sumanth who is easing the role of ANR. Earlier, Rana Daggubati’s retro look as Chandra Babu Naidu had captured the attention of movie buffs.
Helmed by director Krish, the multi-starrer, multi-lingual magnum opus will be released in two parts. The first part titled as Kathanayakudu which will focus on the cinematic journey of the legendary actor will hit the screen on January 9, whereas the second installment will shed light on NTR’s unprecedented political career as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. The second part Mahanayakudu will release on January 24.
The Multi-lingual project also includes stars like Vidya Balan, Jisshu Sengupta, Nandamuri Kalyanram and Keethy Suresh. NTR’s younger son Nandamuri Balakrishna will play the titular role. The period drama will be bankrolled by NBK films in association with Vaaraahi Chalana Chitram and Vibri Media.
