Addressing the gathering, Naidu assured that the proposed plant will be constructed in two years. Taking a dig at the Centre, the Chief Minister said that despite insufficient resource and continuous obstruction, the TDP government has managed to keep its promise.
He blamed Central establishment SAIL for producing wrong feasibility report and accused BJP government of violating the provisions of the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act, 2014.
Terming it a historic move, the Chief Minister said that Kadapa steel factory will create new 1 Lac direct and indirect job opportunities. With a cost of Rs. 18,000 Cr, the plant will come up in 3,000 acres.
“Kadapa steel plant is not for striking gold in elections but to secure the future of Rayalaseema people” he mentioned.
