IAF Online Admission Test postponed at several centers, new dates to be notified shortly

New Delhi, February 26: Walking on the path of enhancing digital initiative, the Indian Air Force Common Admission Test was to be conducted on February 25 but due to some technical reasons the test has been postponed. This was for the first time that the Indian Air Force was conducting an online admission test.

 

The Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) and Selection Test for Airmen Recruitment (STAR) were to be conducted at 536 centers in 99 cities but it could be held at around 450 centres only. It was the first ever online AFCAT and STAR test, and IAF had brought in Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), a government of India, undertaking, to conduct the test.

The maiden online AFCAT for selecting officers was planned to be conducted on February 25, 2018, simultaneously at 536 Centers in 99 cities. It was further decided that the exam could be successfully conducted at approximately 450 centers.

The candidates of these centers where the exam was not conducted are being intimated through individual SMSs. The exam for the candidates of these centers would be conducted at a later date which would be notified shortly.
