Unidentified terrorist neutralized in JK

Srinagar, February 27: Security forces on Saturday getting a major success in its current operation of eliminating terrorists from the valley gunned down an unidentified terrorist in Budgam district of Jammu and Kashmir. The body of slain terrorists along with arms and ammunition was recovered hours after the encounter.

 

Notably, an unidentified terrorist was neutralized by security forces in Arizal village of the Budgam district of Jammu and Kashmir. The body of slain terrorists along with arms and ammunition was recovered from the encounter site. Security forces including JK police and CRPF personnel after getting a specific input of the presence of terrorists rushed on the encounter site and eliminated a terrorist on Saturday late night.

On Friday, security forces including army, CRPF and Kashmir Police pelted two terrorists belonged to Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) terror outfit in the encounter that broke out between security personnel and terrorists in Shistargam Dooru area of Anantnag district in Jammu and Kashmir.

Earlier, in an encounter on March 12 in Anantnag district, the army had killed 3 terrorists. AK 47 rifle, pistol, and ammunition were recovered from the encounter site. Importantly, Anti-Terrorism operation is continued with such a speed that at least 206 terrorists were eliminated by Indian troops last year in Jammu and Kashmir.
