Inspiring and setting up a motivating example through ‘Ramayana’, Lord Rama still inspires millions of people. His beliefs speak more about strength and optimism that lies within humans. Some of his quotes like “Only the timid and the weak leave things to destiny (Daivam) but the strong and the self-confident never bank on destiny or luck; “Grief destroys one’s courage. It destroys one’s learning. It destroys one’s everything. There is no enemy greater than grief.”
He also portrayed the significance of affection towards his father and mother both which depicts from this quotes where he says “beauty may leave the moon, Himavaan may become bereft of snow, the ocean may transgress its shores but I will never violate the promise given by my father.”

As even long after his marriages, Dasarath was not blessed with a child. At this stage, Rishi Vasistha suggested Dasarath to perform Puthra Kamesti Yagna, through which he can have a desired child. Soon King Dasharath agreed to do the Yagya and headed to Maharshi Rushya Shrunga's ashram, to get him for performing the yagya. Maharshi agreed and accompanied Dasharath to Ayodhya to solemnize the perform Puthra Kamesti Yagna. As the result of yagna, Yagneshwar appeared and hands Dasarath a bowl of kheer and asked him to feed this to his three wives. Dasarth gave one half of the kheer to his elder wife Kausalya, and another half to his younger wife Kaikeyi. These two gave one half each of their kheer to Sumithra. After few days all the three Queens conceived Dasratha's child.
