Hyderabad, March 28: The stage is set for the grand opening of the much-anticipated movie on the legendary actor and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N T Rama Rao, popularly known as NTR. On March 29, the launching ceremony of NTR Biopic will take place here at famous Ramakrishna Studios where none other than the Vice-President of India M Venkaiah Naidu will mark his presence as the Chief Guest.

As reported by Firstpost, veteran actor Nandamuri Balakrishna will be donning a titular role and ace director Teja, after the successful rollout of Rana Daggubati starrer Nene Raju Nene Mantri, will be helming the prestigious venture. Baahubali music composer MM Keeravani will be scoring the tunes for NTR Biopic.
Balakrishna, son of NTR popularly called Balaya babu by his fans was last seen in Jai Simha that released during Sankranti. This will be the second-period drama of Nandamuri Balakrishna after the stupendous success of Gautamiputra Satkarni which was released in 2017. NTR was the founder of Telugu Desam Party, currently headed by Nara Chandra Babu Naidu, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.
The period drama will be bankrolled by NBK films in association with Vaaraahi Chalana Chitram and Vibri Media. Besides Balakrishna, Sai Korrapati and Vishnu Vardhan Induri will be bankrolling the long-awaited biopic on Telugu superstar-turned-politician. The film will be produced in Telugu-Hindi. The film will hit the screen in next year keeping eye on general elections and state assembly polls in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
