Award-winning designer Neeta Lulla on-board for Ashutosh Gowariker's Panipat

Mumbai, April 27: Veteran costume designer Neeta Lulla is now on-board with director Ashutosh Gowariker's upcoming period drama'Panipat'. This will be the third collaboration of Lulla with Gowariker after projects like 'Jodhaa Akbar' and 'Mohenjo Daro'. The national award winning celebrity stylist will recreate the era of Peshwa's. In 2017, Neeta crafted the costumes for Nandamuri Balakrishna- Hema Malini starrer Gautamiputra Satkarni, a Telugu flick helmed by director Krish. Later She was approached by Krish for Kangna’s Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi. Veteran art director Nitin Chandrakant Desai has been once again teamed up for creating a humongous set of Shaniwar Wada for the film at ND Studios.

On March 14, the Maverick director had announced the mega project and also shared the first Teaser Poster. After the average performance of Mohen-Jo Daro, the master storyteller will recount the bravery of Maratha warriors in the great battle of Panipat. The film has interesting star casts which include Arjun Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, and Kriti Sanon in pivotal roles. The project is being bankrolled by Vision world films and Rohit Shelatkar in association with Ashutosh Gowariker Productions. Panipat will hit the screens on December 6, 2019.
