Dehradun, April 27: There are only two days remaining for Kedarnath temple to open its sacred portals, the environment has totally transformed into a devotional avatar. The government authorities have taken so many initiatives to make the pilgrimage a smooth occasion now the next aspect comes in highlight is the health of the Yatris. Keeping this in mind, on the whole route of Kedarnath, one doctor will be posted on the distance of one Kilometer each.
Most of the Yatris have lost lives mostly by heart attacks and the problem increases when that patient does not receive on time medication and treatment so now this problem will be solved. The state health department’s decision will be beneficiary to lakhs of devotees from this year
ECG unit will be deployed in Gaurikund. Apart from this, passengers of the age of 50 years will also be checked-in from place to place.
Also, the oxygen chamber will be installed at some distances to have a safe Yatra. the number of doctors have also been increased.
Flexi boards will be installed in place of health centers on the travel route. 14 MRP (Medical Relief Point) will be installed on Kedarnath Marg. On the Yamunotri Marg, the post of First Medical Response will be deployed. Training will be provided to use first aid to other personnel of Health Department posted on the travel route.
Many passengers suffer from high altitude sickness on the travel route. Health Department will also arrange medicines at different places for them. Secretary of Health Department, Nitesh Jha says that the government's effort is to improve health arrangements on the Chardham yatra this time.
