Uttarakhand makes cooking happier: Reduces the rates of LPG Gas cylinders

Dehradun, May 2: The state of Uttarakhand has given made cooking happier by making the LPG gas cylinder cheaper by 2 rs for domestic consumers and 9 rs cheaper for commercial consumers.

Oil companies have given this relief to LPG consumers. On behalf of the companies, the price of domestic LPG has been reduced by two rupees this month. That is, the non-subsidized gas cylinder, which was available at a price of Rs 667, will now be available at Rs 665. Also, the commercial cylinders will be available at Rs 1193.50. Modified new rates have come into effect from Tuesday midnight.

In fact, the central government relies on the LPG price international market since 2014. Under this, oil companies revise LPG prices on the last date of every month, according to the prices of the international market. On Monday night, oil companies have been apprised of gas companies from the fixed rates of LPG. A non-subsidized gas cylinder has been given a concession of two rupees.

Chaman Lal, president of LPG Distributors Welfare Association, said that on Tuesday, consumers will get cylinders two rupees (Rs 665) cheaper. It is a record that oil companies had reduced the cost of cooking gas by 35 rupees in the state.
