Campaign with a cause: WHO, Russia teams up with video campaign on health for FIFA 2018

Moscow, May 25: Emancipating the need to have a liberal outlook on sports, the upcoming football world cup which has been scheduled for next month has something really exciting stored for you. Football lovers get ready because this video campaign gives you some serious fitness and health goals. The new video campaign introduced targets the football fans for the World Cup 2018 promoting healthier and active lifestyle.

 

Scheduled to kick start on June 14, the football world cup is sighted to continue for a month-long tournament. In total there are three videos which have been introduced by WHO in collaboration with Russian Ministry of Health and 2018 Russian World Cup Local Organizing Committee. It has been sought to be one of the many joint activities implemented for the World Cup 2018. The campaign was launched by showing one of the videos in the Spartak Stadium in Moscow.

The campaign consists of 3 videos, each tackling a key health risk issue:

The videos will be presented on many occasions during the month leading up to the World Cup, in addition to being played for fans during the Russian National Championship and at the World Cup, itself. WHO invites everyone to share the videos and, in the spirit of sport, to take care of their health.
