Chandra Babu Naidu is the son-in-law of former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and TDP founder Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, a legendary figure in Andhra Pradesh. Naidu got married to NTR’s daughter Bhuwaneshwari when he was Minister in Congress government.
After losing against TDP candidate, Naidu joined the yellow army after Telugu Desam’s unprecedented victory in 1983’s Andhra Pradesh assembly polls under the dynamic leadership of NTR.
Nandamuri Balakrishna, son of Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao will play the titular role whereas award-winning actress Vidya Balan will enter into the shoes of NTR’s wife Bhasavtarakam.
Under the direction of Kirsh Jagarlamudi, this period drama will be bankrolled by NBK films in association with Vaaraahi Chalana Chitram and Vibri Media. Besides Balakrishna, Sai Korrapati and Vishnu Vardhan Induri will be co-producing the prestigious project. The film will be released in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi. Baahubali fame MM Keeravani will be scoring the tunes. Recently iconic Singer K S Chithra along with Sunitha had recorded a song for NTR biopic.
