Ayodhya judgement is a proof that India coexist peacefully, asserts Bollywood welcoming the historic decision

New Delhi, November 9: After 70 years of immense struggle, the fight for justice ultimately flared colours of victory as Supreme Court cleared the way for the construction of a Ram Temple at the disputed site at Ayodhya. In a unanimous decision, apex court also directed the central government to allot a 5-acre plot to the Sunni Waqf Board for building a mosque. Reacting to the verdict, the much vocal Bollywood celebrities welcomed the decision as Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi put an end to the more than a century-old dispute.

 

As the verdict came out, not just the people of the country but Bollywood celebrities also reacted. Actors like Kangana Ranaut, Anupam Kher, Madhur Bhandarkar and others took to social media and asked the citizens to accept the verdict with grace. They also said that this judgement is proof that everyone can ‘coexist peacefully’.

Appreciating the verdict given by the apex court, Kagana Ranaut in a tweet by her team said that the decision shows how everyone ‘coexist peacefully in India and it is a clear example of ‘Unity in Diversity’.

Urging all to respect the law and decision given by the Supreme Court, Indian film director, Hansal Mehta said, “The Supreme Court has delivered it's verdict on a longstanding dispute over land title. Respect the law, accept the verdict and ignore those who will try to gain political capital or TRPs from this. It really is time to move on.”

Waking ahead in the justice to 'Ram Lalla' and thousands of karsevaks who led their lives for the Ram Janmbhoomi land, the Supreme Court of India, in its landmark, historic decision affirmed to give the possession of the disputed land to Hindus.
