Mumbai, December 12: Apply your brain to decode the releasing date of Vidya Balan starrer movie ‘Shakuntala Devi.’ Balan will be seen playing the role of Shakuntala Devi (popularly known as the "human computer”) in the mathematician’s biopic. The shooting of the film kickstarted a few months ago, and the first poster of the film had impressed us a lot. The makers had revealed that the movie will hit the screens in Summer 2020, but now they have officially announced the release date.

 

A very unique idea was used by the makers to announce the releasing dates. In the video, Vidya is seen showing off her maths skills to inform about the release date and we must say that it’s quite interesting. Apart from Vidya Balan, the film also stars Sanya Malhotra and Amit Sadh. While the former plays the role of Shakuntala Devi’s daughter, the latter will be seen as her son-in-law.

Shakuntala Devi will be hitting the screens on 8th May 2020. Vidya took to Instagram and Twitter to inform her fans about it. Shakuntala Devi was an Indian writer and mental calculator. Her talent earned her a place in the 1982 edition of The Guinness Book of World Records.
