Padharo Mhare Des... Railways erects tableau depicting beauty of rural Rajasthan at Bikaner station

Bikaner, December 23: With an aim to promote tourism and enhance the beauty of the stations, a tableau of rural environment has been erected at Bikaner Railway Station. The tableau has been created under the project 'soft upgradation' of the Railways to promote tourism. The Railway Ministry has posted beautiful pictures of the tableau on its twitter account.
 
 

The inauguration was done by Union Minister of State Arjunram Meghwal on platform number one of the station. The tableau's sculptors are Ruchika Joshi and Kritika Pareek. Sculptors have endeavored to depict the means of transport through the artefacts in the contrasting geographical conditions of Rajasthan.

The development of renewable energy, roads, water, means of transport and the contribution of solar energy in Western Rajasthan have been shown, reflecting the changes in the living costumes of the people with tourism and camel safari in Rajasthan. On this occasion, Municipal Corporation Mayor Sushila Kanwar Rajpurohit DRM Sanjay Srivastava, Senior DCM Jitendra Meena, City District President of BJP Dr. Satyaprakash Acharya, General Secretary Maheen Surana and other railway officials were present.
