Andhra Pradesh govt invited for global energy conference

Amaravati, Feb 26: Recognizing the efforts of Andhra Pradesh in the field of energy conservation, Germany based GIZ (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Intern-ationale Zusammena-rbeit), a German Development Agency has invited state government for a one-week-long international convention.

In his recent teleconference with state officials, Chief Miniter Chandra Babu Naidu informed about the invitation and expressed happiness over the development. In this conference, chief executive officer of AP State Energy Conservation Mission will participate on behalf of the state government. 

Under the title of ‘Energy Efficiency Building Transformation Roadmap 2030- Policy and Enforcement Framework’ the week-long deliberation which began on February 25 will conclude on March 1.
Terming it as the major boot for the coastal state, Naidu said that the state government will portray its innovative policy work and key initiatives before the global energy players. He also expressed that his government is keen on adopting modern technology to improve the existing power eco-system in the state.
